I'm also oddly interested in the rumored "mini truck" that is due out after the Bronco. If it resembles the Falcon Ute from Australia in any way then that would be my hardest choice to make vs Bronco. I'd love a Ute with Focus ST power and a 6-speed manual.

Yeah Bronco is coming (eventually lol). I'm just curious as to what everyone is deciding between as they shop. I want one and plan to buy one but in case it absolutely misses the mark in style/price/capability I want to have choices.

If the Bronco comes out with that 2.7 and a manual transmission I don't think I will need a plan b.. However, if not I have been looking at several options, all with standard transmissions...

1. Gladiator Mojave or Rubicon... haven't decided

I saw the video of the Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon. I've gotta say the Mojave looks impressive.

Truth. I have always had a thing for sports cars, but I am a bigger guy and I like the way the Challenger feels compared to mustangs and Camaros and other options there. Besides, that Hemi is killer... Had an 11 second Camaro SS in college and I miss that feeling.

But honestly I want an off roader with a manual transmission. Haven't had a truck or suv for almost 20 years and I have been looking forward to getting into one for about 2 years now, since I heard of the Gladiator... Then, I learned of the Bronco and all bets are off!!! This thing is sick, and with that turbo v6 and the stick.. that's the guy.

I currently drive a 2012 Kia optima turbo getting close to 140K on the clock. It seeps oil from the valve cover and the oil pan and I have started seeing the electrical gremlins pop up all over the place, from power locks not locking or randomly locking then unlocking while driving to the stereo not coming on and other weird things. I an going to be fixing the gaskets in a couple weeks, not a big issue but I figure I have about 20K more that I am willing to give this thing prior to having to make a move and I am hoping that Bronco will be a thing at that point.

One of those things is not like the other... But damn it its time for a fun car, and that comes in many flavors.

MR2 Turbo... The 89 - 99 models with the turbos were fantastic! I never could get my mind around the idea of that MR2 Spyder with no power that they put out in the early 2000's.
