From the limited information, I'm betting Ford has done a good job with the new Bronco. Open air rugged 4x4, yah! For me it comes down to the amount of longer distance driving I'll be doing.
If not driving a lot, then "Plan B" is sticking with my current old 4x4s, which already provide top-down and off-road fun locally.
But if travelling longer distances are in the future, a new Bronco would be significantly better in terms of 4 adult passenger room (if getting 4 door version) and longer highway driving in route to various destinations and off-roading out west.
And considering the lockdown on travelling overseas and future hassles when that opens up, a new Bronco for adventures inside the USA is looking increasingly appealing.
