And people are paying it. Wonder what that survey looked like. "Would you pay $15,000 for stripes?"This is the same company charging $10k for painted racing stripes on the GT500.

I'm in the same boat. You also get the Navigation, which I want for trails. You do get Nav in lower packages on a subscription basis. I'm wanting to know what that costs.I had Planned on loading my Badlands out. BUT I just can't see the LUX Package being worth $2,300. To me it mainly a upgraded Radio.
Is anyone else like me? Am I missing something?
To me Navigation is a joke we all have it on our phones. And the trail thing its cool but 99% of all trails are already mapped and you can load an app or buy the maps. That 1% is't going on any map ever that for the hard core people and they aren't giving that out. Rock Crawling is a blast and we have tons of places to go but Ford didn't reinvent the wheel just added a cool way of mapping it. But not worth it. That Nav is just something cool to show your friends.I'm in the same boat. You also get the Navigation, which I want for trails. You do get Nav in lower packages on a subscription basis. Updated with statement from Ford:
"The Bronco brand is committed to meeting or exceeding the expectations of our customers. We're sending this equipment, package and pricing survey to 10,000 randomly selected two- and four-door Bronco reservation holders," said a Ford representative in a statement. "We want to learn even more about the features, series and technologies these outdoor enthusiasts are most interested in so we can even better prepare for production, which begins next spring. As for pricing, the Bronco survey does not have final retail pricing, it's strictly for our customer research."

I think its pretty crazy, a well optioned GT500 in 2010 was under 50k. A well optioned GT500 in 2020 over 100k. Now the car is amazing, but its not twice the car of the 2010's.And people are paying it. Wonder what that survey looked like. "Would you pay $15,000 for stripes?"
But you also get an integrated garage door opener!!!To me Navigation is a joke we all have it on our phones. The GT500 in 2010 cost 48K to start, the new one is 70K, it’s only 22K. The new one is WAY more advanced then the old one and has over 200 more horsepower and is 2 seconds faster in a 1/4 mile. The track pack is exorbitant but price wise it isn’t that crazy, a Hellcat is 60-70K too.I think its pretty crazy, a well optioned GT500 in 2010 was under 50k. this is what i was talking about. they are going to look at the survey and say "60% of respondents would purchase the sasquatch package for $5000" instead of "60% of respondents are interested in adding the sasquatch package". its more of a "what can we get away with" approach than gauging customer interest. the survey was built for confirmation bias. *edit* to add: i really hope im wrong here and what we have access to only coincidentally had the same prices.Yep so if the prices are high it's cuz all you survey folks voted "5k squatch? $1900 hardtop? yes I'll add that option no questions asked". ?
That seems like the oddest rule ever. What's the purpose of limiting the tire size?Well I just did some research , I want to us my bronco On the beach in Long Island N.Y. if you have larger then 33” tires you can’t go on the beach so I think the BL is for me , no Sasquatch package f
I understand all of that. I am not talking starting. I'm talking optioned out. Again, a nicely optioned 2010 GT500 50kish, a nicely optioned 2020 breaks 100k. It is not twice the car. Maybe if I could get passed not adding the track pack it would be more reasonable... It is a fantastic vehicle, and probably worth every penny. We can agree to disagree though. I know inflation, R&D, competitive market, etc... It's all good, I just won't pay 6 figures for at the end of the day a car based upon a sub 30k structure unless it was modified in Vegas at Shelby. I've had 5 V8 powered stangs since my first Fox, but 100k is just stupid. It has pushed the vehicle out of the hands of the people that want it the most. Just my .02 cents. I can certainly afford it, I just won't spend it. Oh well. Back to the Bronco. The GT500 in 2010 cost 48K to start, the new one is 70K, it’s only 22K. The new one is WAY more advanced then the old one and has over 200 more horsepower and is 2 seconds faster in a 1/4 mile. You have to look at the process. Ford sends these cars out half prepped to another shop they paint the stripes and it gets shipped back to Ford to put on a clear coat. It’s quite the process for some stripes, but they made it available for those who want to pay. The GT500, in my opinion is a day late and overpriced. However, this is a niche product and the Bronco is not. Yes they may overcharge for some of the equipment and require you to get packages but history shows this, so it’s not surprising to me at all. This is the same company charging $10k for painted racing stripes on the GT500.
