the delay in parts seems to be happening everywhere. my co-worker in a tacoma trd pro is waiting over 1.5 weeks now for a differential gasket as one of his axles/lockers went faulty.

what was your experience?
So I will say, for the big To-Do that Ford has made about GOAT modes, they made it a real PITA to use it . It's just not very responsive, and many of the issues our members have had involved goat modes and things freaking out.

When I did the Moab off Rodeo, except once or twice when the guide said "In this part feel free to use Baja mode if you have it", he never even talked about goat modes.

In the end, the winning combination is to have it in normal mode, but then manually press 4L or 4H, and using the hero switches to turn lockers on and off as needed.

I attempted to play with some Modes while on the trail and it took like 30 seconds and I was done with them.

I remember at one point turning the unresposive dial and it stopped on Sand mode for a bit to long which proceeded to turn off all my settings and try to put me in 4H. Which of course the Bronco complained about, because I was not in neutral. So I literally had to stop, put the Bronco in neutral so that the thing would switch and shut up. Then I put it back in normal, pressed 4L, back and drive and on my way.

Was the last time I attempted to switch goat modes.

Sorry to hear of the issue. I really like the manual transfer case in my wrangler for this reason. I had to troubleshoot and replace a 4x4 controller on a 2000s explorer sport track for a friend one time. My parents' silverados transfer cases also had issues that left them without 4WD several times too.

Ford Bronco Powertrain Malfunction 673C5130-5B69-4B65-ABA0-B7728479CD6F

i had this happen Sunday dropped it off Monday, they thought it was a loose connectionon the battery, happened again to my fiancƩe today, dropped it off 10 minutes ago. Will not shut off the engine. I have a video that I cannot upload any help would help lol!
Did a trail cashes valley in Ga that had some water crossings, but took them slow, switched to 4L a few times on the trail then back to 2h the rest of the time.

this is what I got before I took it in.

Same error I had. Dealer diagnosed it as the transmission control module and replaced it. Everything has been fine since

I got the below error for the first time tonight. I typically drive in 2H exclusively. Iā€™ve toggled through all the 4wd ans gost
Modes at a standstill, but Iā€™ve only driven long distances in 2H. Iā€™ve briefly engaged 4A in some slippery situations on unmaintained roads.
This evening, leaving work in a monsoon I shifted into 4A as there was a good amount of standing water on many roads as well as the main highways.

no issues, a nice smooth ride home with lots of puddle splashing. When I hoped in to the car again later tonight I was greeted by an error code for a drivetrain issue. Now just displaying a wrench instead of 2H. I was also unable to shift into ECO mode for my highway drive.
Power and performance seem fine, so Iā€™m hoping the dealership just needs to clear the code(Iā€™d do it myself but donā€™t have a Ford scanner).
Has anyone else experienced this yet?

I had these same issues pop up today on my 22 wildtrak 2.7L. Service engine soon, check 4Ɨ4 and power terrain malfunction with almost 3k miles on it. I drove it for a few miles and it was hard to steer and had no get up and go. Was yours fixed and what was the issue?

Yes. Mine was fixed at the time. They had to replace the transmission control module. The issue hasnā€™t popped up again- based on the weather at the time I think mine somehow got water logged.

best I could tell the transfer case was stuck in 4H. Binding during tight maneuvers and able to spin all 4 wheels on gravel. Dealer swore it was ok to drive(and I put a lot of miles on daily)

Thank you! The dealership can't get me in until the 26thšŸ˜« hoping it's an easy fix.
