Reservation Day 1 Definition

Does a day 1 reservation end at 12:00 midnight on launch night, or does it end 24 hours after launch?

I have always understood day 1 reservations to be only on July 13. Is this correct?

That is how I have always considered it. EST on top of that. Not that it necessarily means all that much at this point.

I personally consider it to be 7/13 til midnight eastern. But timestamps are by UTC, which midnight would be 8pm eastern.

Either way, it doesn't matter much except bragging rights.

If you ordered a non boring build or a MIC it don't. There are going to be soft top Big Bends with 2.3s on dealer lots marked up to $47k before we get our orders regardless of timestamp.

Yes , I am sure there be none boring Broncos on the lot before I get mine and I put in my reservation on 8/17 .

Ford’s system operates on UMT time. When they opened reservations the night of the 13th it was midnight on the 14th. So all day one reservations in effect are from the 13th 8PM est time to the 14th at 8PM est. or 14th from midnight to midnight the 15th. I made my reservation with in 3 hours of them opening and my email that i got on the 13th says thanks for my reservation on the 14th of July.

Thanks….makes good sense that Ford was using Zulu time. Explains the 8PM starting time.

I am mid-morning of the 14th and I have always considered myself a day 2. I suspect I am about 45k in line at about 14 hours into the process.

I reserved afternoon, Pacific time, on the 14th. Outer Banks, MIC, 2.7, Lux package . . . got my vin number and production date (7-26)

I'm 10:20 pm Paciifc time 7/13. I consider myself a someday 2022 reservation.

I just go by the hour from when the order banks opened... I was 23rd hour. All the time zone crap leaves room for too many opinions. Also gets a little tiring hearing the “you shoulda stayed up and got in”... yeah, I tried for about 4 hours but I work for a living so it is what it is.

All the reservations got normalized to 7/14/2020, mine was around 10pm pst on the 13th.

I have the same build, ordered afternoon on the 14th Eastern time, and I haven’t gotten anything. You’re lucky and you give me hope.
