Hello,
I am patiently waiting to place my actual order (as we all are) and I have decided on the Badlands. I have one question regarding the roof rails. I would like to have them, but was curious if anyone knows if they may hinder (or just make it more diffcult) when removing the top? Im really hoping there is a quick disconnect or something. Any input is greatly appreciated!

They show how to remove the roof rack as part of taking the top off in this video.

First time I've seen that video. Cool, thanks. I will be getting the factory roof rack for an rtt.

How tall is that guy? Love how tall the Bronco is.

Getting them in the rare event I need them. Plan on removing them day 1 and sitting them in the garage so I can remove the top faster.
I was right there with you at first. But the more I thought about it, and the abysmal load ratings, I can't think of anything I'll actually use them for. So I nixed them from my build. If I find a reason for them down the road, they'll either be orderable through Ford or there will be an aftermarket solution.

The thing I don’t like is that the rails don’t go to the back on the four door, they are the same size as the 2 door rails. They just look too short.

Where are you finding load ratings?

Makes sense. I don’t plan on loading anything near that heavy though. It might be smart to pass and get them aftermarket though ?

Yes, but I will probably have to remove them on my Basesquatch when I get home from the dealer to be able to park in my garage.
