What blows my mind is the fact that they actually had this transmission developed for the application and made the choice to make it compatible only with the 2.3. Its not a parts bin item they just had kicking around. Building a trans that can handle the output of the 2.7 is a cut and paste job. No excuse here.

The other day I asked a girl what engine was in her new jeep and she did not know. That is the market for the 10 speed auto IMO. I bet she figured out how to get her instagram feed on her dash though. FML.

Or you could just get a badlands that has 90% of the Sasquatch components minus the 35s and still keep your manual

Look into the Badlands, everything Sasquatch comes standard except for the 35s

Without the 2.7 ecoboost.

That's minimum $12k more than a base. Manual owners shouldn't have to pay that penalty, minus the cost of the Sas package.

Sure just another 15K, I am sure everyone has that sitting around.

Right but no matter what a 2.7 isn’t gonna have 7sp and I’m fairly certain the 2.3 is standard on badlands. But that’s quoting from memory

Yah I do. How much did you imagine the Sasquatch package costing anyway on a base model? It’s not just tires on a base, it’s suspension, rear end also

Do you see the starting price of the badlands? Plus you would need both a lift and 35's. That is a lot on top of the high sticker price. And what about warranty? If you lift your badlands MT and put on 35's is Ford going to give you the big heave ho if something breaks?

Aren't you a lucky man. Why don't you rub that cash in everyone's face. I very much doubt that the base + Sasquatch is 43K.

Well that’s if you upgrade to the quatch’. What I’m saying is badlands with the base motor and no quatch package will be manual minus very few things that the quatch’ offers
