I am a Toyota fanboy and have owned several. Even the newest entune is very terrible. Toyota’s HMI is very clunky and odd.

Just real hard to read it.GOT YOUR ATTENTION !
Nothing yet. Flip flopping between a Badlands or Black Diamond. Waiting until I can find a dealer for an actual test drive and waiting for the hard top fiasco to blow over.HEY STITCHES, WHAT DO YOU HAVE ON ORDER?
I have a similar experience in my JLU - can't see a stoplight without ducking. It sucks!I am wondering if you were sitting in a 4 door or 2 door Bronco. I found the 2 door to be much roomier than the 4 door for shoulder room. I'm 6'3" tall and over 300 pounds. In the 2 door, my left arm/shoulder doesn't touch the door pillar. Even with the seat all the way back. In the 4 door, my arm/shoulder touches the pillar. I think the doors on the 2 door are longer than the doors on the 4 door, so the pillar is farther back on the 2 door. It makes a HUGE difference for big people.
As far as the OP's view/seating position observation, I found the Bronco to be a ton better than my JL Wrangler. In the Wrangler, the seats don't go back far enough or drop low enough and the windshield height or angle are counter-intuitive for me to see items in the air like traffic lights. Most of my height is in my torso rather than my legs. I often had to lean forward and look up to see traffic lights. The Bronco is awesome and I don't have any similar problems. The seat also goes much farther back and drops much lower.
The above points are what made me sell my Wrangler and look at the Bronco's!
Exactly!!! the Bronco is worlds ahead of the Wrangler for this.I have a similar experience in my JLU - can't see a stoplight without ducking. It sucks!
I thought so. I also thought the hood dips will between them to improve front visability.I have not had the opportunity to drive the bronco yet. My question is, do the trail sights-or whatever they are called that are located on the left and right sides of the hood assist in your awareness of the bronco's width while driving? It sounds like some folks have a hard time knowing how much space they have or how far their fenders/front quarter panels extend.
My wife is 5'2" and she drove it. No issues to report from her, she liked it.I'm 5' tall and concerned about front visibility. Will be test driving a Bronco tomorrow. Being able to see the hood is kinda important.

OK, that makes sense. I bet you'd notice a difference in a 2 door.I was sitting in our GM's Cyber Orange Wildtrak 4 door. It just didn't seem as comfortable for my 350 lb. ass. Good news is if I ordered 1 now I have 2-3 years to lose weight!
Personally I’ve found it difficult to drive when my legs are back behind me.In the bronco, you are somewhat reclined and your legs are out in front of you.
This is what happens when you build an in demand product, you attract product experts from other vehicles that are surprised it’s not the other vehicle. Weird how that works.Sounds like the OP does not like change. He is use to the defender and expects the Bronco to be a defender with a Sienna infotainment system.
I would say the same thing my 4Runner infotainment response is far behind ,the sound is obviously better. Tech is better on a Ford, duration is going to be answered in 5-10 years. This is surprising. IMO Sync is generations ahead of Toyota infotainment
Lol, I had come the the exact same conclusion before getting to your post. Not to long ago we had a guy posting on here that he thought the Sport was the base model so it wouldn't be the first time.Have we considered that perhaps OP drove a Sport?
