Not sure if anybody answered your question. Seems like people got stuck on when to used 4H versus what's causing a vibration.

One thing to remember about things being unbalanced is that if you go slow enough, or fast enough, it will feel like it is balanced. So you feeling the shaking at lower speeds that go away as you increase speed is just simply a matter of the oscillation happening so fast it feels smooth.


I would imagine that the front driveline does not spin when not in 4 wheel drive. If that's true, then it could very well be your front drive line is unbalanced and you should get it addressed. Otherwise it'll start shaking loose other things and damaging u-joints and such.
