You are unlikely to wear out a starter motor on any Ford built in the past 20 years. I never give starter motor wear a second thought.OTOH, if disabling the A.S.S. saves the starter even a start a day, that should double the life and that's a number you can see-$278 plus install. If indeed the starter is designed to last the normal life of the motor then by disabling the system you should never have to replace it in the forseeable future.
