Hey everyone

I'd like to ask how everyone's soft top has held up?

Not In 80mph winds will cruise control set at 78mph, or leaking snow during blizzards above the arctic circle. Like average everyday use lol

I've got a soft top on order and I'm not concerned because I have little things called common sense.

Had ours since August and it has been great. Snow, rain, wind, car washes, open, closed, windows in and out. It has been absolutely wonderful.

I'm not a fan of it (as is documented all over these forums, lol) but so far it's held up well... but I've also never had the thing open.

You took it through the carwash or you washed it?

Both and it has been absolutely fantastic. Multiple car washes and multiple hand washes.

Good to know, didn't think they could go through the was, thought it had to be hand done.

Not at all, just like every other soft-top car out there, car washes are fine.

I think people just lack a little common sense with owning a soft top.

If it's blowing 80+mph maybe pull over or slow down.

If there's 2 ft of snow on the roof sweep it off lol

A lot of good that will do when trying to generate stupid cancel culture clicks on social media. Rather insensitive of you. :)

I have not had one problem with the softop, been over 80mph, no leaks rain or snow.

Wind noise better than thought.

That's an important point, IMO, to add. The noise is certainly more than a true tin can car/truck/SUV but no where near what I had anticipated. Use of the phone and having a conversation is lacking in any drama. Normal voice is fine, even with the top all the way down. I have only received some complaint while driving with top all the way down and windows down. Fix was to raise the windows during the conversation.

I'm excited about my soft top. I'm sure there will be a bit of a learning curve but a again common sense will prevail.

You will be happy with it. The mechanism works well and the cloth seems good quality. I think if you can put it up and down with 2 people it is best since you don't put lateral force on it. It beads water pretty nice until it gets totally drenched. Going on 4 months, I plan to put RaggTopp fabric protectant on it before the 6 month mark. Folks say 303 is another good brand. Watch some videos on care and maintenance and it should give you several years. Also, never dry wipe the windows and don't use anything on them excepts lots of car wash suds for lubricity and a good microfiber mitt. I had vinyl with the wranger, this is my first cloth and I like it better.

I won't even touch the windows until it goes through the touchless wash, then microfibre to dry. And I also coat them with Lucas Slick Mist. So far, has kept them looking nice.

I’ve had mine through several snow storms and high winds. Not a bit of a problem.
