There have been a lot of photos posted from other events. At this event they had two four door Badlands. One had leather and the other vinyl interior. Both are on 33s which combined with Badlands suspension has a awesome stance.
Some of my thoughts:
1. Four door is larger than I had anticipated. Particularly the amount of room in the 2nd row and the amount of storage behind the 2nd row. My wife even commented there was a lot more storage room than she was hoping.
2.The glove box is small, and there is a huge area above it that just says airbag.
3. Talked with the rep; about 18 mpg coming downfrom Michigan, but also made note that these are preproduction and not factory tuned.
4. Steel frame is stronger than the steel on F-150 due to Boron steel blend?
5. Both vinyl and leather options are a little underwhelming, especially for a $60,000 dollar vehicle. They don’t look bad, but the leather had ripples and this is on a new vehicle.
6. Plenty of legroom in the front. I can’” barely touch pedal if seat is all the way back and I’m 6 foot.
7. I asked about color painted roof to match body color and Ford performance parts specificity air intake and cat back exhaust. He said both have been a frequent topic of conversation and although Ford is not allowed to comment on products not yet released, “good chance” both will be options for MY 22’
Outer Banks, iconic silver 2.7, squatch.
