I have a friend in New Jersey with 2022 4 door black diamond no SAS. He finds the suspension is to harsh for northeast roads/potholes. What would you recommend for the most plush ride. Thanks.

The Hitachi shocks (same as your friend's) on my 21 base were -perfect- for potholes and rough, paved roads (and Vegas, tho not old and not subject to freezing/plows/etc, has its fair share of total garbage roads).

My 22 SAS is too harsh on pavement...

Honestly cant imagine a bronco any 'plusher' than on the hitachis...

Might suggest they check tire pressure. Mine was 42psi when I picked it up, dropped to 35 (32 now that it’s cold and I’m lazy) and the ride smoothed out quite a bit.
But, also, it’s a true 4x4, not a luxury SUV. I came from a Touareg which was far less capable but rode like a dream. Could need to reset their expectations and just hit the potholes harder 🤷🏻‍♂️

Will do thanks. Will have tire pressure checked.
