Does anyone know if there's a dark or night mode? Can you enable that all the time?

I find the white/grey looks cheap - and I just prefer a dark mode these days.

I am pretty sure such a mode exist in Apple Car-Play but not in Sync.

Yes there is a dark mode. Sync allows you to let it change via outside lighting or you can lock light or dark mode. I have this feature on SYNC gen 2 on my Explorer and keep it in Dark mode.

This is one of the only things I was interested in seeing in the entire 45min video and he doesn't even demo it.... he spends 15 minutes on "My Key" but spends literally 3 seconds mentioning this.

You can see it in the video between 37:30 and 37:33

All I can derive from this is that yes, there is a "night mode" and it looks like you can permanently set it... but I have no idea what it looks like.

Seen so many videos of sync 4 with the 12” screen but nome with the smaller screen.

Just guessing here but I'm guessing they just ditch the side display (which seems kinda pointless, imo)

Only a piker would use a $100 USD bill. You want to compare size you need that Philippines 100K peso bill, y'all! Go big or stay home.
(I found this video yesterday, btw, and bill and hand sizes aside, was pretty impressed at the functionality of Sync4).

Whenever I lose a nut or bolt in an engine bay, down past a number of sharp and jagged metal bits, I call on the GF to fish it out for me. Just saying, having a 90 lb Filipino around is super convenient in those situations... Tiny hands and all, she makes everything look like a full 12" screen!

Full disclosure: This is a statement of fact, not a racial insult. She is, in fact Filipino and weighs about 90 lbs with tiny hands and I force her to fish out lost nuts or bolts all the time due to her tiny hands. She then punches and kicks me in anger while yelling loudly.

Thanks... so it looks like night mode is a dark blue theme. That's better than the white/grey in my opinion. I will probably keep it on that setting.
