tapping into high beam wire

I am adding 4 ditch lights and wanted to know it i can tap in my high beams fuse or wire to have 2 ditch lights come on when my high beams come on plus still run a wire to Aux 5 to control when i want to flick to switch. The other 2 ditch lights i plan on tapping into the turn signals so they blink.

You can’t be serious. If they are off road lights it’s illegal to use them on the roadway.
Hopefully you will reconsider the “blinking” so we won’t go blind at night.

Wow! The responses are a bit harsh. However, if you live in a State that requires a safety inspection, I would hope this would NOT pass.

But to answer your question, not sure if it could work to be able to control lights with high beam and an Aux switch.

There are quite a few on here that don’t consider before they post.
I don’t know the answer to your questions. My driving lights are on my #2 auxiliary switch. And yes I sometimes use them on empty roads.

I have an Amber side and a white(bright side) to my ditch lights. I’ve often thought the same have the amber blink with the turn signals and also have the ability to just turn the amber in with a switch. . I just haven’t tracked down the wiring diagram and what (diode) maybe would be needed not to back feed the system when turned in by a switch. As far as hooking then to the brights I’d just put them on a switch. Because I’d be the one guy that a cop sees and get busted.
