Didn’t realize how bad the B&O system is until now. Just got done changing out the three front dash speakers and the difference is incredible. Much louder and clearer sound than before. Sorry Ford but the B&O system sucks and definitely isn’t worth the money. Next up for me are the two rear speakers. Gonna install the Mabett 6.5 inch speaker pods and Kicker KSC650’s. Should improve the sound quality even more.

Didn't want to drop the LUX package because I wanted the B&O system. Dropped several items to get scheduled. No Regrets!! I ordered the high package and swapped out all 6 speakers and added a JL powered sub and couldn't be happier.

Try the base system. I didn't think it would matter as I don't blare music, but it is truly pathetically bad. Put the top down and forget about listening to anything.

What are other people using for the 3 dash speakers and 2 kick panel speakers? Those are the ones I'd like to update most. I've seen people using something different for the center dash spraker.

mti tailgate sub box with amp and processors
clear and booming even when naked

Can't speak specifically of the B&O system in the Bronco as mine was base audio but the B&O in my Mustang is junk.
Will likely follow a similar path as I did with the Bronco, add a dedicated amp and replace the speakers/sub.

Base system is fine, though it's like Ford hasn't learned anything significant since the 1989 Ford Ranger. With the Top off and cruising at 70mph down the highway, or even 45 down a road, the radio doesn't matter a whole lot as long as it can get loud.

Keep in mind the factory radio and amps are programmable, and Ford programmed them specifically for the speakers so if you change the speakers, you won't get the top performance from them until you get the Ford amps to stop messing with the signal.

I personally question too large of an investment in audio in the Bronco just due to the environment it exists in. The cabin environment isn't going to support a concert hall sound.

The speakers are absolute junk. You can replace them with $10 speakers from Autozone and see an improvement.

I’m sure when Ford cut a deal with B&O they made them drop their price and B&O dropped the quality. Apparently companies cheap out for large contracts. Example Moen line of taps from Home Depot .
