Chrispy....how do you think Sport & Bronco compare lengthwise in 4-door configurations?

This was over on the Bronco Sport forum. So now they're testing the Sport in nothing but a dazzle wrap. Wonder what this means about the possibility of Broncos appearing with a wrap and no foam? Would be nice to have some new pics for the spank bank is all I'm sayin'.

Despite some denials in a few quarters it has been firmly established that these "Staged, Professional, Sanctioned" "Leak" photos come to us courtesy of Ford.

What I want to know is since the Baby Bronco was supposed to reveal after the Big Bronco, why are we not seeing any new Big Bronco Leaks now?

So it is interesting to me that “cars” are sort of going back to the future as far as upright body style is concerned.

Good point. Some folks don't like the idea of vehicles departing from the sit nearer the floor type of seating position, as if that's always how it's been and should be. When in reality earlier vehicles had a more upright position with higher view of surroundings. I know people who buy SUVs, not because they need 4x4 or road clearance, but because the find the more upright seating position more comfortable and like a higher view.

So what you are saying is: some people’s shoes are shorter than they think by at least half an inch?

I genuinely like that. I think its going to sell really well. This would be a great alternative for people like my mom. She needs a vehicle that easy to get in and out of, AWD in michigan, good mileage, and room to take my kids out when she wants to go shopping. When ford gets these to market, timing should be right for those with decent tax returns.

Nah, the Discovery had that roof bump 10 years before the Xterra.

Said it a while back but the new escape is a slick little crossover.

Because it goes to production well before the bronco.

That is true, but Ford's plan, up until now, was to reveal the Bronco first, looks like things changed.
I could be wrong, but, I think the plan actually was to reveal the Sport in April, then the Bronco in June. Then they saw the pent up demand for the Bronco and said okay we'll release it early. Then, well, here we are ...

Does new escape use the noise cancelling mic's in ceiling like fusion had? Even my 15, 4 banger Fusion was decently quieter than our 17 escape (and even slighter better than 19 "base" edge I just got as loaner). I suspect there is not much as much you can do on highway with wind noise, with the more upright cabin.

Being my dad was hugely into car shows (and I've been to 100's all over the place with him), it's interesting to see how big and tall interiors used to be. Only issue with that is now everyone is higher, so you need a 3/4-1 ton truck to really be "higher" at this point.
