But then there will be a constraint on it. :p
Yeah, everybody will want one …

I’ve self-rear-seat-deleted everything I’ve owned (still own)

Just a fair warning to those here: doing a seat delete on my MINI Cooper made the car practically unsellable on the used market. If you plan on *ever* selling the car, do not delete the rear seats or be willing to reinstall when it comes time to sell.
So whenever I do rear sear deletes I am careful to remove components in a way that I cna put them back in. I did not cut the rear seat mounting studs (althought they are the piece that sticks out the most).

I have also made the rear plywood in a two piece type a deal with rubber seals around to protect the cheapo Ford plastics.

I think I owe this forum a detailed thread on my flat floor/rear seat delete. I will do it once I get out of this snow storm.

We’re gonna need you to add full wheel and tire specs, please and thank you. Those look beast.
Method MR703 GLS Titan 17x8.5 with the default wheel offset (forgot what it was) and also ordered the TPMS sensors.
LT315/70R-17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T E - Proven to be terrible on mud (I almost slid sideways down a cliff. Good grip on rocks. Awesome on the highway. Awesome in the snow/ice.
Tire Rack has this set up and they offer tire installation for free. Note they all came inflated to 65 psi.

To fit them, I had to remove the crash bars (the ones that would deffinitely certainly save my life in a crash lol). I have the modular steel bumper, so the removal was easy.

The setup rolls well with stock base suspension with a bit of rubbing when you go full lock right/left. With the Eibach lift they fit very well.

You don't need a third brake light bracket extension. Spare 35 fits like a glove.

- ‘13 Audi TTRS

I do my deletes because of my two 120 lbs dogs, Home Depot, Costco, Skiing runs, dead bodies and shovels, etc.

Now that I'm a father, I would like my daughter to safely enjoy the Bronco with me and my wife. I have the rear seat delete plywood cut 50/50. I can reinstall 1 seat and still have a flat bed on the other side.

Hello there,

I recently had the chance to purchase a Base, 2 door, manual Bronco, that I gave the name Burronco.

So far I was able to give it a few minor ulgrades:

Eibach 2.0 Coilovers
Method wheels (in matching donkey gray)
Mickey Thompsons (because mud, snow, small cars, etc.)
Oracle stoplights (I like the way they look)
Made it into a flatbed (because dogs and home depot)

Things I am yet to install, since I'm lazy as a burro:
PA system and siren (Cali traffic here I come "honk honk")
Sidesteps (wife is a shorty)

I'll try to post updates here as I install thingy things on the Burronco.

P.S. Contemplatin wether or not to make a separate thread about my DIY rear seat delete and flat floor install. By far it is my best upgrade, as I use the hell out of it.

Right on. This was the next project I had in mind, and I'd like to hear more about how you are setting this up.

Good luck in those storms!

Hey Ford, are you noticing? How about making a factory rear seat delete option on the two door Bronco. Thanks.
Yes @Ford Motor Company please do this...many of us don't want a 4 seat 2Dr.
Please add occupants classifications to the ford performance tuner tool. Might as well add the Hoss 3 rack flash into it as well (you know the one you call the "ford performance rack") ...alot of folks want to see the rack flashed. I know I always get excited when I see someone flash their rack.

Good point. I have yet to see a Dog turn into a "back seat driver".

Very nice! Love the look. What kind of fuel economy you getting on those Mickey Thompson's? Are you running the 2.3L or 2.7L engine?

I have the 2.3 4banger paired with a manual. I run about 30 psi (warm) tires and IF I don't drive like an ass, I get 18..19.. But my average over a 40-mile round-trip commute across a small mountain(hill) is about 15 mpg. I've realized that the 2.3 gives good mpg when running on a higher gear and super low rpm. I drive it like I did the diesel Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol I had in the late 90s.

Ford Bronco The Burronco 20230708_182012

Update to the build:

Roof Rack: Redrock XT1
Finally found a decent roof rack, that doesn't need the OEM rails. It is suprisingly good quality. It gets wind noise over 85 mph (its more of a resonance), but again... I only drive over the posted speed limits when I'm south of the border (or on the 101tobahn)

ECU: Forescan
I should've done all the Forescan tunes on day 1.

Audio: Kicker 10" / JL Audio speakers / Kicker 200.4
Not going to lie, this was one of the more annoying mods I had to do. Mostly because of the Ford ACM to Kicker amp connection. After 20 days of back and forth and many wasted dollars, it all finally worked together, but damn it shouldn't be so complicated (and expensive). The JL speakers are good, but be sure to get the right speaker brackets and connectors for the kick panel 6 inch speakers.
P.S. Dear Ford... Your mold injected plastic "Surface A" components are total crap. It is unacceptable for 90% of the plastics to either break or not fit well on a brand new vehicle. Learn from Japanese brands already.

Top: J-Top (Dense Titanium)
Great quality material and somewhat straightforward install. Looks great, and I'm sure its more durable in the long run, but for the 8x the cost of an Amazon/Ebay top, I'm finding it hard to justify.

I have the 2.3 and it has been great. Suprisingly good on gas in the city (even with the 35s). Torque comes early when offroading or in the snow.
