i mean... not sure if anything has changed.. but do they realize that with their electric cars the materials to make their batteries are mined in all over the world depending on the material, shipped to china to be refined, shipped to japan to become components and then sent to their country of manufacture to be placed in a vehicle in a factory that probably doesn't use wind to recieve power... by the time their vehicle is made it's already used more fuel and created more greenhouse gas than the Bronco will ever make

Oh, and the cobalt mines in the Congo are known to use child labor...

I must admit I do have my inner hippie (don’t worry I still shave my legs, I’m not an animal ?) that would prefer It have a more eco option but I’ve countered my love of the outdoors with the gas mileage and I can’t justify not having a car that gets me to the remote off-road locations where I can drink my kombucha beer and sing to the animals. But really, the best way to have respect for the environment is to learn it and appreciate it by being out in it. There I’m done. I’ll go back to lighting my incense and meditating now. I’m an EV guy and am looking forward to going on the trail in an EV Bronco, but this is just ignorant. But he’s just feeding red meat to his readers - which, he’s totally right, wouldn’t take their broncos out into nature anyway. The closest they’ll get is a North Face catalog.
