I have no problem with the 3.0tt, but with the 392 on the market they better come in starting at 60k or less if they aren't offering equal power. Don't be surprised if there is a warthog package with 37s.

The weight is something to consider, but I think it was just a miss by Ford to be honest. The Powerboost should be in a vehicle capable of pulling your RV into the wilderness and powering it for days to weeks uninterrupted. There's no way my Luxury Limited should be more of a tool off road than a Raptor or Bronco. I think many would forego the HO 3.5 for the Powerboost and the unlimited flexibility of the 7.2 kw generator. The Powerboost is a stronger motor and the 13 kw hybrid battery is relatively tiny. Mechanically there's little difference. At least give the customer the option. It would make the bronco 6000 pounds and weigh more than the raptor.
why do you think the raptor didnāt get the powerboost?
That motor would be a nightmare in the bronco but not in the good way.Ultimate engine? put the 5.2 voodoo out of the Shelby Mustang 350GT (RIP)
Power stroke 3.0 turbo diesel. Tow up to 10000

Iām sorta with you on this. As others have pointed out, the current Power boost system is probably too heavy with the battery and squeezing an electric motor/generator into the Bronco would be a problem. Perhaps a Bronco-sized, scaled down hybrid system could be made to work though. I understand that an auto manufacturing company would not undertake something like that lightly. That would be a major undertaking. But I think a hybrid Bronco with scaled back features of the F-150 hybrid system like you mention would be a winner. Lately Iāve been giving quite a bit of attention to a Platinum F-150 with Powerboost or the new hybrid Toyota Tundra (shame on me!). If the F-150 Tremor offered a hybrid option, I might already have made the jump. More HP and torque, faster, better gas mileage are pretty compelling. The weight is something to consider, but I think it was just a miss by Ford to be honest. yup, high-revving V8 would be a terrible choice. Relatively doggish down low. That motor would be a nightmare in the bronco but not in the good way.
Well I would say dogish. I have one but the cam doesnāt come on until about 4k. The st motor will be perfect in the raptor though. Itās fun as hellyup, high-revving V8 would be a terrible choice. Relatively doggish down low.
sweet ride! Made to have fun at higher rpms! Having to rev an NA motor in a 5000lb brick does not sound like a lot of fun.Well I would say dogish. I have one but the cam doesnāt come on until about 4k. The st motor will be perfect in the raptor though. Itās fun as hell
