Been interested in a aftermarket hood to make the soon to arrive Bronco standout but think another direction might be best for a cactus grey Wildtrak.

First option would be just to wrap the hood with a gloss black film too match all the other black on the WT.

Second option would just to have it painted gloss black.

What does everyone think? Would make the cactus grey standout more.

I think Cactus Grey stands out just fine and looks good. I notice CG Broncos easily on the street.

Gloss black might give you visibility issues with reflections.

Doesn’t the wild track come with a hood decal already? I added a hood decal like the wild track. It says Badlands.

Personally not a fan of hood wraps, reminds me too much of high school civics.. you do you though.
The carbon fiber hoods from Anderson Composites are pretty nice!

What were you being taught in high school civics class regarding automotive hood wraps? My class was just about government stuff...

Hey, there's a factory Wildtrak graphic for the OEM hood. I went with an AFC Ram Air Hood and plane to mimic the graphic.

Btw, nice choice... Wildtrak!!! 👍😎👍

Thanks everyone for the replies and feedback. If I do this think wrap is best choice. Still undecided at moment. Think I’ll drive it for a bit and make a final decision at that point

Way back I had a Mack R700 tractor and dump trailer. White tractor and glare off hood was unbearable. I masked off top of hood and rattle canned matte black. Problem solved. Had to respray every 6 months.
That was before wraps and the cool stuff we have now.
