Has anyone else experienced a side wall bulge on the sas tires. I took it out off roaring over a month ago. That’s the only time it ever saw dirt and they looked good after. Just yesterday I got bulge on the side wall that the manufacturer refuses to cover. It’s been on pavement 99 percent of the time. I don’t even know how it would happen unless a pot hole. Horrible tires.

need to replace that sucker. it will blow at some point, side wall failure. depending on miles and such might be warranty (course they pro-rate it to tread depth and expected lifetime of the tire)

Had this happen to several Michelins on my wife's Buick...toast. The dealer pro-rated and replaced at a substantial discount.

It has 4000 miles on them. I took it to ford today they said it’s not covered because “it looks like it was hit”.

The only thing I would’ve hit is a pot hole. Idk how that could happen with a pot hole and not be covered.

Lol, you need to pay to learn. That is 100% a factory defect. Dealer should have put your spare on, and warrantied it on the spot. I would call the dealer and yell at the manager for them putting you at risk.

Are you on crack? That’s not 100% a factory defect. A hard hit to a deep pothole will do that to a tire easily.

4k miles.. no physical rim damage or tire damage that i can see (scuff/rubber missing). should be warranty but you always have to fight for it.

Warranty doesn’t include road hazards that’s why. Not to mention oem tires carry no warranty from the manufacturer

Defect, tire bulges are common on old and damaged tire. He has no rock rash, curb rash or odd tread wear. On a 5,000 mile tire it's a defect.
