I'm thinking that Ford should have been prepped with everything, except parts delays, for the April launch (IIRC that April was the original month). The COVID delays are only an excuse for me with respect to MAP and not marketing/web.

Your position is that Ford was going to bungle the launch even if there wasn’t a global pandemic, but also, Ford is so competent that they are the single global company that somehow wasn’t impacted by the global pandemic.

This all boils down to the principle that it is February of 2021, people have submitted orders, and Ford continues to make changes, or different reps have conflicting information.

It’s unbelievable the immense mess of people not knowing what is or isn’t late availability, or what won’t be available period.

On top of the fact that they’re showcasing models that are Frankenstein trims mixed together.

Take the OBX Carbon Gray Sasquatch pics that were posted. The dash is gray but the B&P shows a roast dash. Which is it?

If Ford Marketing is listening, please get your stuff together and clean up the website to accurately display colors, trim options, finishes, and CONFIRMED aftermarket accessories available . Jesus...

If you look at all the industry rags that 'rate' vehicles within their class, Ford's entry is typically 3rd quartile down. Pretty disappointing for a firm that has rationalized their offerings down to fit in a pretty small basket.

I don't have a love/hate relationship with any maker...but to a casual observer it looks as if most of Ford's offerings are mediocre at best.
