They'll drive a 100miles from a contracted pick up service
I'm outside that range. I'd have to get up to Birmingham Alabama to drop off and get a rental car home. May still work out as the best option.

Just checked KBB and my trade in value has gone up $3k. Not holding my breath, but hopefully values keep going higher or at least stay until my bronco gets here. That way I feel better about dropping cash on a Squatch package I don’t necessarily need...

everyone been following whats going on with used car value's with this chip shortage? my f150 platinum I plan on trading in for my bronco blue book has gone up $8,000 in trade in value just in the last 6 months alone. nice bonus there hope it holds thru mid summer.
This would be awesome news if they would give us any idea of when our Bronco production would be. I’m probably MY22 since I have all of the deadlies on my build, but if t were to slip into MY21, I would unload my Denali early to take advantage of this market.

This is insanity.
A new, 2021 F250 XLT diesel crew cab 4WD price is 55,735.
I can get that for my 2019 Z71 with 24k miles with the 5.3.
And we owe far less on it, so there is good equity and potential for savings monthly, having a brand new Diesel truck 2500 vs. 1500 series....
I'm trying to decide why not at this point.
Other than the hassle, losing the brand new K02's I just put on it and the $1,000 tri fold bed cover....
I'm tired of taking it back to Chevy for recalls and ghost engine codes.

Crazy. I'm selling our 2006 Pathfinder with 160k miles for the Bronco and was expecting to sell it for $5k. KBB is saying $8k and used dealers are selling similar for $10-12k.

Carvana is offering me almost $22k for a Subaru Crosstrek I paid $23k for in 2016. Still trying to decide the best way to go about selling it at a good price but also having a reliable vehicle to drive this summer.
If you have time, try selling on autotrader too. When I did kbb instant cash offer and carvana they offered me $3500 above trade-in value. Within 30 minutes 3 dealerships called me to offer up to $2000 more. I decided not to wait and my first offer from Autotrader was almost another $1000 on top of that for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. So Tucson gone and got an extra $5k toward Bronco vs trading. So now, just hoping they don't pull me back to the office before the Bronco gets here or I'm going to have to be dropped off.

They are giving me an estimate of around $40,000 for my Ram. I bet I could sell it for $50,000.

My Bronco isn't due until '22. With my luck the market will tank when the time comes to trade. I could fall in a barrel of mammary glands, and come out sucking my thumb. :)
This is me exactly... I’d probably have to pay someone to take my truck... WTH

I am glad I bought my Silverado Double Cab 4 X 4 last year in April. I went to the dealership when everything was shut down. There were no other customers there and they were desperate to sell any vehicle. Car dealers were open as they were labeled "essential". I chewed them down and down some more and nabbed it for 28K. I'll bet I can get mid 30's for a trade in right now a year later.

I also bought a used 2006 Corvette convertible back in December last year- just before the prices started sky rocketing. I had been looking for a Corvette and I had a feeling that it was my last chance to get one at a decent price. I got a great deal on it too.

Now the wait on the Bronco is a gamble for me and my current Jeep TJ that I was planning on selling to partially fund the Bronco. The Silverado and TJ are my daily drivers and I do a lot of driving. My 1997 TJ is a gem with only 27K original on it. The value is pretty high right now- probably could get in the upper teens. If I keep driving it like the way I have been and the Bronco takes another year into 2022, the mileage will be in the upper 30's or 40's and I am concerned that the value will plummet versus mileage in the 20's.

I did not expect such a delay when I reserved the Bronco last July 13 but no one else did either.

Just re-checked the Carvana offer for my 2015 Audi A6 TDI with 56k miles; it's up $3k since I checked 3 months ago. May have to make that trek up to Birmingham to collect some $$$.

I'm considering selling my 2017 Honda Pilot and including two sheets of plywood... that should demand at least $75k! :)

My brother sucks at cars...just traded a 2019 F150 FX4 XL crew cab with a 5.0 and 4x4. It had 4000 miles on it and the dealer only gave him $39k while he owed $42k. It ended up added negative equity into the Expedition he paid $67k for, lol idiot...
Your brother could not afford the first vehicle due to what he owed in the end and to top it off he buys an even more expensive vehicle. Not a good manager of money. Let us know when he sales the Expedition. lol.
