Makes me wonder what ford's price adjustment will be for 2022 or 23 that weren't reserved..?big price hike?

One of the reasons I insisted my dealer convert my registration to an order. Ford only promised a price lock if the order was in by 3/19, but there is at least a chance Ford will extend that. If my dealer waited until the 2022 bank was open like he wanted to do I'd be guaranteed to be paying a higher price.

My daughter decided to move up to a small SUV from her 2015 Ford Focus w/75k miles. She got an offer from Carvana last month for 7k. Yesterday, it was up to $8,900. Nearly $2k increase in less than a month!

The problem is that they are predicting even bigger shortages with new vehicles on the lots. People are now buying used at an alarming rate and that market is on fire and will be for the year ahead.

holy shit I might dump the extra spare car too LOL. we have a 15 focus that was worth maybe 5k a couple weeks ago. If they offered 7k or above, I would say screw it come get it.

I just sold my truck. Had a 2018 Raptor that I paid $64,000 for used with 18k miles. Truck now has 58,000 miles. Initial trade in offer for my Bronco was $48,000. Glad I didn't take that. The dealership I bought the truck from offered me $61,000 and I couldn't pass it up.

Thread got my curiosity so checked KBB on my 2019 350 SD. Bought it in Oct 2019 used for 65k. KBB has mid trade in value at 75k. Incredible. Never thought I'd live to see late model used vehicles appreciate be it short term.

Yeah, my Cayenne trade in value was pushing $50k.....If the trend continue the dealer my owe me money when my WIldtrak comes in....

Yep. Just traded my Cayenne, which I bought new 2 years ago. I made $8k on it.
