To be honest, I started out looking at a 'Base' (available in 2021) and when I started looking at adding Tires and wheels, etc. I figured, I'd just pull the trigger and get the Wildtrak w/Lux. Now that some of the lower models cost more than I paid, I'm VERY happy I went with that decision. I can say that I have only used the Adaptive Cruise control once and haven't really ever used the Wireless charging. I do like the updated B&O sound, but probably would have not missed it. One thing I wish I could have gotten is a power seat, but that was not an option on any 2Door at the time.

The real answer is get what you want. Even something as small as wash-out floors will just be an irritant every time you get in the truck if it's something you wanted and compromised.

Yeah, budget usually puts a damper on the "get what you want".

You still have to get sasquatch package on Black Diamond to get Advanced 4x4. Plus the gas mileage is horrible.
What kind of gas mileage are you trying to get anyway? I have a 4dr Big Bend with 2.3/auto and Sasquatch and I’m getting 20.9 mpg hand calculated driving 50/50mix of 70+mph interstate and city/stop n go rush hour stuff. Put it in an open freeway mpg goes up.

I will tell you though, if mpg truly is a very important factor then this might not be the vehicle you’ll be happy with because you have to be very aware of your driving habits. My friend has basically the same bronco as me but a Black Diamond and she gets 16mpg consistently because she just drives it and doesn’t try for mpg.

16-18 is fine in the city, it's the highway that I would like to get more like 23, but you are correct, if MPG is that important, I wouldn't be even looking at this vehicle. Hopefully we get better gas prices after this year.

I’m getting 20 with my 2 door Heritage. It drops to 18 when on the highway. You learn how to keep it out of the boost and the mpg isn’t bad. Say that, I have the 7sp MT so I can control that better than an automatic (IMO).

There are a lot more sitting on the lots these days with discounts being offered by Ford. Get what you want, for your needs, they will all work. Like others have said, figure out the must haves then start adding the “wants”. For me it was 7MT, 2 doors, mid, and cloth seats. Fortunately, the Heritage Edition hit all my wants and needs.

Limit boost and you can do it. Note that the heavier the tires, the worse gas mileage. If it's mall crawler you're wanting (looks good for off road but stays on the pavement), keep the tire weight around 60lbs (or less). The big heavy tires will use boost a lot more to get moving and accelerate.

Why advanced 4x4?
Well, for starters, the better low gear ratio (3:1 vs 2.7:1). The advanced 4x4 transfer case is reportedly stronger than the standard transfer case. Finally, 4A is a nice feature to have in variable conditions where 4H may not be appropriate but 2H is not optimal either.

I have the Outer Banks lux package without the Sasquatch package and it is very capable off-road (but I also have the 2.7 engine, advanced 4x4 transfer case, and rear locker). The bottom line is that it's very capable despite the lack of a front locker. It's even more capable after a bunch of FORSCAN tweaks and other minor modifications.
Care to share those FORSCAN and other minor mods?

I wish I had the Lux package on my '23 OBX, but that was not in the cards.

Pretty stupid for Ford to make advanced 4x4 only available on mostly off-road setups. You're leaving out a huge demographic of people that use the vehicle for commuting and would love the added safety of a more AWD setup.
This right here.

The gas mileage is no different on the BD vs the OB or the BB. Get a Prius if you’re worried about gas mileage. It’s a B R O N C O.
Not entirely true, the most fuel efficient tires are the Bridgestone Duellers that come on the OBX, they are lightweight road tires, and I got the best mileage by far with them.

23.5 mpg stock OBX alloys and Bridgestone Duellers vs 19.5 mpg on the stock Black Diamond steelies and General Grabbers. (75 mph freeway driving).

There's a whole thread dedicated to FORSCAN mods.

There's a build thread for my Bronco that's easy to search for, but missing some mods.

Oh, I know that thread. I was curious about YOUR mods, not FORSCAN in general. I've done a couple things in FORSCAN.

I can search for your build thread.

If you want 23+ mpg highway at 70+ mph, you have to run the lightest, lowest wheel and tire package possible with a muffler delete (like the Flowmaster Axle Back High Clearance Exhaust).
