Restarting huge production lines is complex. Production numbers will likely reflect this in Nov numbers and holiday shut downd will affect Dec. I have no idea how to measure quality month by month with any public data.

But again, many quality issues are by design/engineering/cost savings.

Not sure lavishes is even close to accurate as the stock is way down and getting paid 90 cents to own a share of GM is still not worth it. You have to make it attractive for folks to give you their money to invest in your company. Would you invest in GM?
