I like it, and might have picked it if it was available for my order. Might still if I don’t get built. I liked the style on the CG with white interior launch mannequin.

I plan on adding a winch and do not like the factory add-on for the Mod bumper as it blocks the camera. So I am getting the capable bumper since it has the factory fog light. I will eventually replace the bumper with one that will work with the camera, parking sensors and the ACC of the Lux package.
Dumb question…is there a challenge with mounting the front license plate on the capable bumper vs modular? I ended up using zip ties to mount my license plate on my current Jeep winch/bumper which is not optimal. Haven’t ever used the winch (though it looks damn cool) so not anticipating a winch, thus right now I’ve got the capable bumper ordered so I don’t have to mess with adding fog lights later. Granted, license plate placement is not a deal breaker, just interested in what I have to look forward to.
The modular has the Bronco bolts while you would need to drill into metal plate with capable bumper which I may do.

Has it been confirmed, do the fog lights come pre run/have the switch set up in the controls already? There was a debate a few weeks ago and I can't find the thread to find the answer plus it just seemed like everyone was just guessing and having a pissing contest.

I think it matches the rear bumper much better, and I can $ave that price protection $ for when I replace both rear and front at the same time + fog light switch.

There’s multiple ways one could attach a license plate to both bumpers (especially once you include zip ties =] ). However the mount I got from Fishbone Offroad fits directly to a shackle point like on the mod bumper versus what the d-shackles are connected to on the capable bumper

I thought the endcaps were removable. Am I wrong?
That's been a long running uncorrected misprint by Ford's rockstars. The end caps on the capable bumper are not removeable.

fog light switch is integral to the headlight switch.

imho, both the 21 and 22 oem bumpers on Badlands trim are less than adequate as a long term winch platform.

so far I am learning toward the L.O.D.
style with the winch built into the bumper instead of on top of it, also like the narrow width.

Modular / heavy duty bumper looks better than the capable bumper .... but not $575 better. I'm taking the capable bumper and the discount. :)

What is everyone's thoughts on the new 22 capable front bumper?

Do you prefer this over the HD Modular?

Prefer the modular mostly due to adding the brush bar. Ordered the fog light kit for the end caps. I have taken out quite a few deer here in GA with my metal RC bumper and brush guard. Barely slowed me down.

There have been good points made for and against the modular bumper. Such as more places for rust to form. But with the modularar you also get the bash plates and the ability to modify. As such it is a pretty good deal.

Nope - Looks too plain for me. I prefer the HD modular option better. I rather wire up my own fog lights that will be much more powerful.

I can’t believe that this bumper is just as crooked if not more than the steel bumper
