Received light kit today. Thank you for quick shipping.

As for the above, I was charged for the pigtails for the existing factory harness. That is okay. However, I would suggest you edit your post #2 in this thread since they are no longer "FREE".
They were free back when we ran that promo. That promotion isn't valid anymore.

Okay. That post just doesn't read like (or say it is) a "promo" (with a discount code and/or end-date for its use). Again, just suggest the edit to alleviate future confusion.

That post was a direct response to a customer.

Thank you, I know. Again nothing in that post says it is (or was) a temporary promotion or an offer only for the OP.

I apologize but am a perfect example that that was interpreted to still be a free pigtail - not just for the OP or as a temporary promotion that is no longer in affect. The post is still out there - and will always be. It could happen again when someone else happens upon it. Since I fell for it someone else could as well. Thus my edit recommendation to avoid just this kind of confusion.

Not to hi-jack this thread but to put some "rumors" to bed...

"Potluck" was being difficult with us via email about the spacer. He filed a Paypal dispute claiming claiming "item not as described" despite the fact that we sent him the spacer. We never did get sent back the spacer nor the compressor bracket despite the fact he filed the dispute.
There's always 2 sides of the story! Chargebacks SHOULD be rare.

Shoulda told me you were doing that. We offer FREE pigtails to customers whom want to do precisely what you are doing :(

We would have included a set of pigtails to plug into your factory harness when we shipped your order
Do these have to be tapped into the lights or or is it plug and play?

its a plug and play pigtail to plug into the factory connector - but you’d drill need to buy the correct dash switch and use Forscan to enable the Feature

What did I miss here?

Bought the pigtail connector recommended on the 4x4TruckLed website for backlit diode dynamic SS3 and pre-existing HD modular bumper fog harness. These do not match up.
Thanks.

That end with the two green plugs is a bare male connector end that Ford put into the connector. You need to pull it out.

Okay that makes sense. I’ll pull those.

But the plastic connectors are not similar. That is what I am questioning. They are not a match.

There is a "blank" or plug in the one on the right that you need to remove. (not just the green part).

Ohhh. That was the trick. Awesome. Thanks so much - Bronco6g forum members to the rescue again.

Now if I could only make the rest of this install go easy. These things are a PIA to align and install at the same time. It is probably the mounting bracket that makes it difficult. No easy way to get to all the screws while mounted.

Remove the black on the Ford pigtail. It's a cap and needs to be removed.

Does your truck have the HD Modular bumper from the factory or did you have a plastic bumper?

Depends on what mount you got. Our flush mount brakes are REALLY easy to align, since they are ALMOST aligned when you install the lights onto the brackets per our instructions. You just have to aim the up/down a little bit. Very simple.

The open style brackets take more doing since they are an open style design (so you can mount larger lights)

Thanks. Post #146 did the trick. Just didn’t realize you could pull part of the factory harness out. The pigtail now connects as advertised.
