It was previously known that Ford shutdown retail ordering, to focus on dealer stock (which have higher price gouging), with no mention of this in the video, did Ford actually shut down dealer stock orders?

Where did you get this sh×t information?
From everything that I have seen or read is that for MY23 only reservation or 22 order holders will be able to order a MY23. Retail orders will not open until Q4 which is July 2023. Any dealer stock delivered during this time frame will be basic lower trims.

Should've said "new" retail orders.

Pretty sure Q4 has nothing to do with July considering they typically release their Q4 and yearly earnings at the same time in early February...I doubt they're waiting 4 months to release that data.

According to their SEC filings, their fiscal year ends December 31.

That means Q4 also ends December 31. Makes sense, force converted orders by Mid November, open order banks to retail just after Thanksgiving ensuring that existing order/reservation holders orders are in and at the front of the line.

They NEVER said all MY23's were going to existing order holders or that there would be no retail orders. They are prioritizing them, but constraints and allocations are still in play.
