I think Ford and VW already have some sort of partnership, right? Since Ford has announced that the Bronco will not be available overseas (yet), maybe a slightly modified, re-badged Bronco sold as a VW in European or world markets is how they'll do it.

They do indeed, there will be a joint venture on VW's Amarok (Actual pickup) based on their Atlas. I heard they may change the name to Tarok (mini Avalanche) or something.
