Torrential downpour today, had a significant leak on the drivers side pillar. My 2021 only has 4200 miles and is garaged most of the time. November 2021 build date.

I did some exploratory panel removal and found water all the way to the floor and a nice puddle under the washout floor. Judging by the rust I’m thinking this isn’t the first time it’s leaked. I didn’t see any evidence of leaking on the passenger side, but I didn’t remove any panels to check.

Mine just started doing this also, been a year and a half since I've had this and this is the first time it's leaked
I realize this is an old thread, but my bronco started giving me the same leak. About a year and a half of ownership, 15k miles. I dont get a lot of heavy rain where I live, but the last 2-3 self service car washes I've done it leaks. Have you had this issue fixed?

Hi there, Grant. This water leak concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end. This only happened once to me fortunately, and I think it was a perfect storm so to speak. We had a torrential downpour, the vehicle was parked on a hill before I started driving, and there was some debris along the seal where it funnels the water out. It hasn't happened since and has been in a ton of rain.

Mine has been doing this on and off the past two years. I haven't been able to track it down. I have sprayed it and it only does it at specific times while raining. It's taunting me and only leaks when I'm not in the vehicle. lol I'm about ready to take all the plastic and airbag off so I can actually see where it's dripping from, since the plastic channels it down the drivers pillar. I've had the top panels off a couple times, didn't see an issue.

i have also had the leaking issue. Started above passenger side vanity mirror/sun shade. My dealership replaced all the seals on the roof, including resealing the windshield. The very next day after i got it back, we had intense rainstorms. Water leaked all along the entire length of the A frame, spilling on my steering wheel, shift boot + infotainment cluster, and on the passenger side air bag. It was pouring out through the upper part of the pillar where my auxiliary switches and even through a little speaker there. Ford is going to take it back this Wednesday. I thought maybe it was because they "forgot" to put back in the two flanged screws on the top shroud, but the service center told me those are meant to be left open for drainage. Unfortuantely, the water that goes into those drains are dumping into the cab.

is there a link to the actual fix that i may share with my dealership? Please and ty.

2023 soft top with this same issue. Passenger side mostly, but has done it on drivers side as well.

A bit frustrating, I just took delivery of a 2024 Bronco and am experiencing this leak from the passenger a-pillar airbag. The car has like 200 miles on it

I got my 2024 Bronco a little over a month ago and it has this exact issue: leaking out of the airbags on both the driver and passenger side a-pillars to where I have a few ounces of water in the floor board on both sides every time it rains. I ordered the "Retractable" roof with the Bronco and that came as a Bestop slant roof. The dealership is saying the problem is the roof but this thread seems to suggest otherwise. It's very frustrating to have spent this much money and waited 8 months only to have this problem within a month of owning it.

Naa, it happens with the original hardtop. 2022, and it leaks when it rains a certain way. Runs down the drivers air bag area same as yours. I've tried spraying it but it won't leak when I'm trying to discover where it comes in at, so no use for me to take it to the dealer. They'll just spray it as well and say they can't find anything. Waist of my time.
This piece just pulls off if you can catch yours leaking to try to see where it's coming in at. You can see part of the rolled up airbag under it. It just pulls off, held on by a retention strap, since it's designed to come off when the air bag deploys. I took mine all the way off for now as I plan on taking all the plastic trim off and air bag to try to see where it actually comes in at.

I’m dropping off my Bronco at the dealer tomorrow for an oil change. I also asked them to investigate this pillar water leak and the chewing on rocks when cold manual transmission.

Well...add me to the list. Just purchased a Blue Oval Gold Certified 2022 Wildtrak within the past month and have had 2 instances where there has been water on the passenger front floor mat and the carpet under the mat has been wet. It's still under factory warranty for another year so hopefully this can be taken care of. Unfortunately this seems to be an increasingly common problem with the full size Broncos. Hope I don't regret trading in the 2019 F-150 I had before the Wildtrak.
