BMS not ASS. Battery Management Sensor. Thanks. But I recall disconnecting it from the battery will disable ASS. What is the downside of doing this

Don't disconnect that. That's the capacitor that holds all the quality, bad things happen when it's not hooked up.

That won’t work on Broncos without a bunch of issues, charging system fault, etc.
