Badland sales have been averaging $14,140 above sticker on eBay. I mean, at least that's what I heard.
I have a D90 being built in January. Dealer told me 15k mark up when I called for something unrelated. Luckily that person was wrong as I ordered mine on 9/29 and the dealer decided on the mark up to start on orders from 10/1 on. (Close call).

Now imagine what they'll mark up abandoned orders lol

Just some of my thoughts:

Pro selling:
Up front cash - for me this has to be at least 10,000 and more like 20k

Con:
Have to deal / haggle

Chore of signing over, financing, insurance, registration

Order a new one - waiting at best 6 months and more likely 12 months

Am I still paying a premium?

Prices go up - shipping issues could delay and increase costs even further (inflation is upon us now - is it stopping or going up?)

New vehicle requirements - saw something about required breathalyzer as a possibility. What other requirements and CAFE rules will be added before the next election?

5k is not worth even half that. 10. I'd need to crunch the numbers but I'm leaning no. 30k. Then sure - but can you get that?
