I don't change anything, unless the Bronco gets stuck. 2H all year long, unless additional traction is needed.

I really wish I had 4A living in Minnesota but I don’t…

2H unless it warrants 4H and switch in and out of the two based on speed and road conditions.

I love driving in unplowed snow (not on the freeway), yeah takes longer to get to your destination but it makes the mundane interesting.
Does the Big Bend not come with 4 wheel auto?

2H unless its snow covered or slippery then flip to 4H.

I used slippery mode once when we had snow and freezing rain and I wasn't a fan of it.

We're getting our first snow of the year and that got me thinking, what setting is everyone using for snow and ice?

Slippery Mode, 4x4, 4A ect.
I've just been using Normal with 4A during this mess the last few days. No problems really.

Just me being naive but why would you turn TC off in a low traction situation Like snow?
From what I understand, TC doesn't let your tires spin. Sometimes you'd like that tire spin to get you going or keep you going.

Here in MN, 2 winters (actually no real snow to speak of this year so far), I use 4A when needed. Never used GOAT modes, yet.

Does the Big Bend not come with 4 wheel auto?
Unfortunately 4A only comes with the Sas option. Regular BB does not have 4A. Not the end of the world but a creature comfort I will want when I get my next Bronco.

Thank you to everyone who commented with their settings. Bronco and I survived the snow and ice storm with no issues. Here's where I landed after the fact:

4A with Slipper Mode

4A alone was awesome, but Slippery Mode nerf's the throttle for a bit more control.

Thanks again to all forum members!

Good to know all this.....last winter wonderland ride I did in 2 to 3 feet of snow i was in 4H/4L and slippery. I will try 4A next time as I think this will be the best mode for off road snow trails as well....unless needed in deeper snow or if stuck then use the lockers......(y)
