Dealer’s total allocation isn‘t finalized until after all their orders are submitted.

Right now allocations are preliminary. A dealer’s total allocation number isn’t finalized until after March 19 based on how many reservations they convert to orders. This was clearly explained in the release materials posted a few days ago.

Dude, everyone who is happy with ordering what a MY2021 is is encouraged to order to get an estimated delivery in May. Dealers are encouraged to convert as high a percentage of their pre-9/18 reservations into orders to help their final allocation. Allocations are agreements between Ford and a dealer on the number of units that dealer can expect to receive. Final allocations can go up or down based on reservation conversion to orders. As for prioritizing different orders over others, I have no idea how any of that would work If it can work.

In any case, a dealer only submitting a number of orders that equals their initial allocation makes little sense as their final allocation would potential decrease from poor conversion percentage.

You might be in luck. Another poster said that Stephens mentioned that 10 of the original top 70 have cancelled. Not guaranteed, but maybe gives you hope. I’m guessing quite a few others from the original 70 will also delay for a ‘22.

I have not seen that so I appreciate the heads up. Definitely would be nice. But like others have said if not it's just longer to save for a bigger down payment.

Number 6 of 75 reservations. The reservation was made late in the 13th with the email dated the 14th. The dealer has chosen not to share their initial allocation, but I assume that being 6th that I would be included in whatever that number is.

Same here, I made my res at 7:05 Central. So 5 minutes after the banks opened on the 13th. However my reservation says the 14th. I wonder if anyones actual reservation says 7/13...

I was at 8:05 Eastern opening night. So 5 minutes after opening. This was on the 13th. However my res. says the 14th. Does your actual reservation say 7/13?

Speaking of Southwest flights, what if Ford sold "early bird" for Bronco reservations. Who would pay $500 to go into Group A?

I'm not concerned, as I have 4 of the deadly 6 late availability in my B&P printout. I would actually be OK with a MY22, as I could get the white roof then. Odds are, I'll get mine just before the MY22 changeover...

I want several items from the list of deadly 6, but I am not changing my order to get an early delivery.

No word from my dealer. How does everyone know their time stamp? I reserved early on the 14th, like 6am est but didn't receive an email until that afternoon at 1:31pm. No time stamp in the email or reservation on ford.com.

Interesting. I made my reservation at 11pm EST Day 1 and I’m #10 of 152 (93rd percentile). You made yours around the same time, possibly later, and are 92nd percentile

Supposedly I’m #9 at my dealership... just looked back at my timestamp for my reservation and it was 8:06 on 7/13... seems hard to believe that I’m #9 at a relatively small dealership...
