What is this thing in the cargo compartment???

I have tried to look around on here, and in the manual (I hate not having a paper manual for reasons like this) does anyone know what this thing is in the drivers side of the cargo compartment? Sorry if this had been covered in the past but I can’t find it and don’t know what to call it to search the online manual. It kind of looks like an OBD II port with no wiring.

If you take the rear clamshell off, you attach the rear-wiper fluid line / harness there.
