What is everyone using for wheel locks? I was thinking of ordering the set from Ford. It does not specify if it will fit the Sasquatch wheels. Is there a better option than the Ford wheel locks for $90.

I personally hate wheel locks, but they have nothing to do with the tires, it's the wheel type & stud threads.

You just need something with a 60 degree cone taper, and M12 x 1.5mm threads.

They are the best. /thread
@JFLSUFAN, please use the search tool. Lots of posts and threads on this. Mudflaps and tires, too.

That said, I put up more money for the Advance Wheel Locks. Sure, they can be defeated, but it will take a thief with above average skills and tools, plus a good bit of time.

I picked up the Gorilla spline drive set (of 27) in Black. While not an actual wheel lock and certainly not invulnerable to a determined thief - it does serve as a small deterrent. Looking through posts and vids on You Tube, wheel locks are a waste of money.

I searched for wheel locks, and the results were sparse. Thanks for the info.

Whether its your home, your vehicle, or yourself...when it comes to theft its never about prevention, its all about deterrence. Thieves are opportunistic and lazy. They will pass on the more difficult targets because an easier one is always right around the corner.

In regards to wheel locks, a quick Google or YouTube search shows that traditional locks are not even a minor deterrent. Very easily defeated, rendering them a complete waste of money.

Advanced Wheel Locks took a different approach. The shape and design make them invulnerable to the methods used for traditional locks. And that's what makes them an excellent deterrent.

They aren't cheap, but far less than the cost of replacing even a single wheel/tire.

My deterrence plan is lots of rock rash. Thank you Last chance canyon! I do need to rotate my spare into the mix.

Advanced Wheel Locks are also a relatively new company and a small family business founded by an Engineer. Good peeps.
