Now that we know the offset for stock wheels is +55mm, other than clearing the fenders is there any issue going to a wheel with 0mm offset?
Looking at aftermarket wheels, they are almost all 0mm offset.
I know this will push the wheels/tires out about 2" on each side, which I think will look fine but does this have a significant negative effect on steering/suspension/etc.?

I am getting a 4dr base and want to upgrade the wheels but it looks like the vast majority of options will be 0mm offset.

Thanks!

No one makes wheels for the Bronco so be patience. And 55MM is 2.16535 inches and that is a lot of poke if you run 0 offset. You will fling dirt and debris all over your bronco.

Per #WuNgUn, if you offroad hard then 0 offset will present lots of stress

Everyone makes wheels for the Bronco, the wheel pattern is what determines if they "fit" (generally). The backspacing is how they look.

there are a lot of wheels out there with a bolt pattern of (6x5.5 | 6x139.7) and they happen to fit the bronco BUT they are NOT sized in terms of offset, backspacing and hub centric for the bronco.

BTW ... (6x5.5 | 6x139.7) happens to be the same bolt pattern as toyota trucks

Some here will not be happy if they buy wheels now and find out they will not fit properly.

And I have spoken to 2 wheel manufacturers and they waiting to get their hands on a bronco to get the right fitment.

You're right, it's not as simple as I made it out. There's more to consider.

I agree, it will not take long before bronco application specific wheels are available. And as far as I know the bore has not been confirmed yet. I won't be surprised if it matches the Ranger 93.1

I would be a buyer on this one if it had a more reasonable off set.

Oh the dreams of those wheels and the white top, stripe and grille. Yikes.

Ford has been driving this one all over and it seems fine.

Sounds like a 0mm offset would not be great in terms of wear/reliability. Too bad, that will limit options for aftermarket wheels. Thinking that something around +25-30mm would be perfect, giving a bit of extra clearance and wider stance without putting too much stress on the hub and suspension components.

No one knows at this time what issues a "0" offset wheel will have on the Bronco. My guess, it will rub on the body mount and pinch weld. Likely will have to cut the liner. It will increase the turning radius and in general look like a hillbilly brodozer.

Also my guess/bet. One of the wheels is confirmed at +55 but not all of them. Look at the F150 it has several different offsets on the factory available wheels. The standard on a 4x4 F150 is +44, on the Raptor it is +34. Going to a "0" on the Raptor does cause rubbing.
