When we finally get our Broncos - where do you plan to go with it?

Me: overland road trips, Northeast USA and out to the Maritime Provinces of Canada.

I want to be on forest and logging roads. Not interested in rock crawling Moab or risking life and limb on Black Bear Pass.

Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado..... as many places as I can make with 3 day weekends.

North woods of Maine, cross country trip to California. Hopefully, through Canada to Alaska one day. I want to put some miles in.

I’m putting my Bronco on a boat and shipping it to Hawai’i where I’ll crawl all over the island from the top of a 13,000’ volcano to driving across old lava fields in order to get to remote beaches and off-roading deep into the rainforest jungle.

Local trails to begin with, to shake out the bugs and make any additions needed. Then the following will be tackled.......

Whipsaw (100km alpine trail).

Alexander Mackenzie Heritage/Greese Trail (420km long remote trail with river crossings and swamps).

Tillamook State Forest OHV area.

Rubicon.

Moab.

Lots of trails in Colorado, Southern California and Arizona.

I'm an ultra-runner in Colorado and the Bronco will get me to the mountain trails for running as well as for fishing. It will replace my old Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Local trails and camping in MN. Then the same out west CO, WY, MT, UT, NM, AZ. Not necessarily in that order. No rock climbing or black bear pass stuff. Up to this point, in a BD 2-dr manual.
