Run Mickey Thompson Legend Baja Legend MTZs, I had the EXPs in 35s and really liked them. I am able to get 90days 0% financing at my Tire Shop then $100 rebate at the time from Mickey. Reviews on the legends were good, so went with it. Shop said it was the easiest balanced 37s he has ever done. About 5k miles on them now, no complaints, not very loud, still an MT, but I think quieter than the K02s i ran years ago on my truck.

About to take this plunge myself.
Torn between:
M/T Baja Boss
SST Pro
Geolander X-MT
Leaning toward the SST at the moment because the weird asymmetrical tread on the X-MT makes me pause (Think the tough look but poor performance of the GY MT Kevlar or the Interco Thornbird)

Another one running STT Pros. Why? Because it was in the Cooper Tire booth at SEMA way back in 2021. Otherwise, I would probably be running the Nitto Recon Grapplers.

Also, the tailgate can support 133 lbs from the factory.
Edit. Gratuitous pic:

I went with the Maxxis RZR. Balanced well and relatively quiet on the road. I chose it because there was a whole group of EBs from back east running them at Moab so I figured they must be decent in both mud and rocks.

I also learned after the fact that they're dreadful on ice.

I had previously bought Patagonias but returned them before mounting after reading that they are terrible in mud.

My Delium Terra Raider tires have been awesome, triple peak rated and dirt cheap.

I entertained those on my Wrangler, but they were OOS, I went with BFG KO2's in LRC.

I should have waited on the Deliums...or any other brand.

I have been happy with my Nitto Ridge Grapplers on several vehicles. They do really well on the Bronco too. Highway, Rain, Snow, Ice. Pretty good all around tire.

Do you like the turn carrier? Did you install? Was it hard?
I do like the Turn tire carrier, I think other brands are good as well. I installed it myself, it is relatively easy although the adjustment can be tricky. I do like that the tire can be mounted at different heights. I have the tire mounted high effectively blocking the back window but it does give me more departure angle.

I like them more than my Falken AT3s they have deeper sipping and have been awesome in the snow/ice.

I posed this question on the Wrangler forum about a year ago:

Are "Expensive" Tires Even Worth It?

11 pages worth of discussion with the typical back and forth, but in the end, there was nothing that absolutely supported that they are.

TBT - I had a set of Kanati Trail Hog AT/4 tires in 315/70/17 and LRE and I thought they worked very well (they were Goodyear Duratrac clones). I did the usual progression in the Wrangler--33's, 35's, and then 37's. Had I not wanted to go up to 37's, I would have just stayed with them. They were $1,040 to the door for a set of 5 and it cost me about $100 to have them mounted and balanced.

I am not sure what I will do when these Territory's wear out (not moving up to 37's on the Bronco), but I do plan to shop alternatives to top dollar brands.

Nitto Recon Grappler 37x11.5R17 - The tread width measures exactly the same as the factory Sasquatch Goodyear tires. Less weight. Less rolling resistance. Easy to fit without needing a bunch of modifications due to the narrower width. I like MPG and range. 19-20mpg in town city driving.

With a tiny fuel tank it's essential to keep the mpg close to factory!
