I have more questions than ever. 1. will a locker be available stand-alone like every other Ford truck offering or are they wanting to stick it to me? 2. Does the sasquatch package include an automatic (probably not)? 3. If you go Sasquatch on the BL do you still get the disconnect or does that cause a problem with clearance or something they haven't told us about yet? 4. What is included in the $600 tow package (I can get a class 3 hitch for $200 from u-haul)? 5. Does "not currently available" on the sasquatch with manual mean they are still considering it? Questions, questions, questions. I don't feel like I'm any closer to my decision than I was before.

It pretty much solidified what I already knew. I'll give a cost breakdown on my two possible options:

Big Bend 2-Door Cactus Gray = $32,551 (Invoice)
Destination Charge = $1,495
Dealer Charge = $180 (Granger)
2.7 w/ 10 spd auto = $3500
Sasquatch = $5,000
Mid Package = $1,600
Tow Package = $600
Modular Front Bumper = $800
Total = $45,726
Discounts:
Trade-in = $12,000 (Based on KBB)
Down Payment = $5000
Granger Ford = $1300
Vehicle Total w/ Discounts = $28,726

Base 2-Door Velocity Blue = $28,073 (Invoice)
Destination Charge = $1,495
Dealer Charge = $180 (Granger)
2.7 w/ 10 Spd auto = $3500
Sasquatch = $5000
Tow Package = $600
Modular Front Bumper = $800
Total = $39,648
Discounts:
Trade-in = $12,000 (Based on KBB)
Down Payment = $5000
Granger Ford = $1300
Vehicle Total w/ Discounts = $21,348

Now I just got to choose which one, which is going to be difficult since they are both within my budget lol. What to do, what to do?

I was originally torn between base and BB, but my wife convinced me I needed the BB, which I guess is fair since I'm trading in her car and not my truck. But after seeing the pricing, by the time I add what I (my wife) need, I'm within about $1500 of the OBX. The OBX doesn't really give me anything else I "need", but does look a little nicer to me. So yeah, it answered some questions but also raised others. Do I want to spend $1500 extra for fancy stuff I don't need? I don't know yet.

Conflicted more than confused. At this point, and that really doesn't seem to mean anything as I've been at that point several times, I'm just gonna get a base. At first I was just gonna trade my Jeep JL for an OBX, load it up, and by done. But, dang it, I like my Jeep. So, as it stands I'll sell my project '92 Toyota pick-up, and get the base with nothing added. The base still has more than the old Yoda, and it won't be my main vehicle. It will be more of an old man's play toy like my little Yoda.

My reservation is for a Black Diamond but once I realized I can't get some options that are found in the Lux pkg (like the B&O radio), I decided I was going to go with the Bad Lands. The new pricing hasn't changed that (yet).
