Any thoughts on whether this will be totaled? 2023 Big Bend 2.7L automatic with 31,000 miles. All 3 airbags deployed on the drivers side. I am waiting on the adjuster to assess the damage.

… if it’s not you need to have a tuff conversation with the adjuster… body shop too.Any thoughts on whether this will be totaled?
And the diminished value claim, if applicable in your state. Most insurance companies depend on their customers being ignorant about this. I had a 6 year-old truck and the claim was worth almost $5k. For a newer Bronco, this could be even more significant. If the accident was not your fault, which I don't think you've stated yet.… if it’s not you need to have a tuff conversation with the adjuster… body shop too.
Once they start the repair and find… and find… and find chitt you will not want that vehicle.
Car fax resale value…

Wow - that is the first horror story I've heard about USAA. They have been great to me for 35 years. If the responsible party has USAA, they will want to repair it at the cheapest place possible. A kid pulled out in front of me and I t-boned him at about 35mph. $18k of damages on a 6 year old vehicle and USAA refused to total it. Front end was completely crumpled. Then they tried to stiff me for 6 months on the diminished value claim until I took them to small claims court.
And I got the truck back with the engine light on, which wasn't on before, and missing trim pieces, and USAA refused to replace them. Complete scam artists there these days.
Well, they were not my insurance company, they were the insurance company of the other driver, so that might make a difference. But yeah, they "did not receive" the diminished value form I sent them three times, and it was pointless to argue the engine light since 1) I didn't have proof it wasn't on before the wreck and 2) they said take it up with the shop that repaired it. Once I paid $125 to file a small claims court suit, their lawyer called like a week later with an offer.Wow - that is the first horror story I've heard about USAA.
