I know there’s no real way of knowing yet-but I was hoping that those that are well versed in such things might venture an educated guess.

I listen to Carcast podcast with Adam Corolla, Matt D'Andrea and Goldberg. Matt has spoken several times about how smoothly the Raptor rides on-road. I think my stock, company supplied, F150 rides okay but it is a bit too boat-like, especially loaded down.

I know they don’t share a platform but I just wonder if you guys think the nature of the suspension will be about the same or not.

I would absolutely think more F150ish than Taurus. It is still a 5000lb truck.

My Raptor rides fabulous. It has a longer wheel base and live valve shocks on the front that change in real time. The 2021 has a different suspension and will have live valve shocks on all 4 corners.

I hadn’t thought about it but maybe we’ll have to wait for the warthog to get a similar ride?

I’m guessing the new Raptor will ride as nice as the Bronco! I find it very interesting Ford moved to the 5 link on the Raptor.

My Raptors have been the best road trip vehicles I have owned. The ride is very quiet and extremely comfortable. That will be very difficult to replicate in a short wheelbase vehicle with a removable top.

funny having owned only jeeps and a V8 dakota, the dakota by far was the best ride. floated like a cadillac. I like play in the wheel and floating when i hit bumps over feeling every bump up through my hands and into my teeth. my current ride 2018 JLU is the best riding jeep i have owned in that way, pretty smooth on the bumps.

So we’re equating the Raptor to a Cadillac or whatever?

My 1977 F250 with E Load Rated Tires, I can feel every crack in the road when I'm not haling a load. Now put a ton of stuff in the bed, it'll ride as smooth as a Cadillac.

It is what it is and yes, I like for my truck to ride like a truck.
