Nope. Had a 1971. It was light blue, white top and grill, 3 on the tree, 302 v8 (150hp!), no A/C, non power steering, unboosted drum brakes and best of all uncut. My first 4wd.... Kids and bills required another 4wd (2001 expedition). Love to buy another 1st gen but they are stoopid $$$$$ for what you get. Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?
Thanks for the question. This was literally my first post ever with regard to the Bronco. Sorry I didn’t know the ropes as a “ senior” rookie. Others have asked the same....Why is this not a poll?
Seems we missed a polling opportunity. So unlike B6G to miss a poll.
Yes and no. My high school "drive" was a red/white 1969 289cid Bronco. Still "famous" when our classmates reunion; but technically it was Dad's. I am just not thinking about getting a new edition as my second auto; my current is a 2018 Raptor Super Cab with all options except decals, sun roof, and carbon fiber. I was having trouble finding the really important specs for my wish list using Ford's online site; such as axle ratios, towing packages, lockers, and such options -- t' heck with "trim" and such. Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?
Nope. My second. I took delivery of my first one in April 1968. Still have it. Garage kept except for the first year. Drove it yesterday. 289, 4.11, Limited slip front and rear, heavy load package, uncut 131,000, 3 on tree. Anxiously awaiting Badlands 2.7Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?
Oh, after enough time you'll see why I quipped about the poll. We seem to have polls on everything. Even polls about polls, and polls about polls regarding polls. It's pretty funny. Thanks for the question. This was literally my first post ever with regard to the Bronco. Sorry I didn’t know the ropes as a “ senior” rookie. Others have asked the same....
Thanks for the response and best of luck,!
