I ran a couple moderate trails on the OEM tie rods no issues on 37s, I typically only use the front locker when climbing and obstacle is needed.

Cmon not that bad! we actually pulled to the side to let some broken jeeps get towed through. the pic shows worse than actuall trail."light wheeling" proceeds to show his bronco at the bottom of a pit of rocks lol glad you had a spare.
What?! I was told only Broncos break.Cmon not that bad! we actually pulled to the side to let some broken jeeps get towed through. the pic shows worse than actuall trail.
I ordered the kit with an aftermarket but went ahead and bought an OEM as well, and used it? I caved and ordered a set of icon tie rods. Figured I could take off the factory ones and use as spares to justify spending the $350 bucksI see that Tricky Dick is offering OEM or Aftermarket. Which did you go with? I'm beginning to think the Aftermarket can't be worse than this OEM product.
All in about 40 minutes. I had a week prior put in the rack bushings so it was pretty fresh in my mind how to do it, but really not that big of a deal. How long did it take to do the repair? I have the same kit for this situation but am curious how long it will take to make the swap.
I have drug bolts that aren't countersunk d*** near smooth on skid plates, not a big concern to me. I can weld nuts on them and get them off like I've done forever. Not trying to spend $1,500 on skid plates Just so I can have the "bling bling" countersunk heads. Those bolts on a skid plate are horrible.
Skid plates need to have countersunk holes with special bolts that are even with the metal once they are screwed in.

Not bad I blew a fender flare offWent yesterday. Did 2,4,19,5,7, and 42 or 43 out to the state park. Only got the service ABS, Service Advancetrac, drives modes not available, and not able to shift out of 4L once after dropping off a 2ft drop.
Last time I was in GA wheeling a damn jeep broke the steering box an blocked the damn trail PITA to turn around. What?! I was told only Broncos break.
I saw that. Damn Raptors and the garbage can lid flaresNot bad I blew a fender flare off
May as well spend a few more bucks and replace the rack bushings while you're in there.I ordered the kit with an aftermarket but went ahead and bought an OEM as well, and used it? I caved and ordered a set of icon tie rods. Figured I could take off the factory ones and use as spares to justify spending the $350 bucks
Yeah the rock pit isn't "mild terrain" to me lol. Sounds like the OP is a serious wheeler though so its probably mild to him. I'd look at that and say NOPE in a stock Bronco even with my Hoss suspension.Anybody else look at that and think that doesn't look like mild terrain or just me lol
$399 for the engine skid plate in my picture.I have drug bolts that aren't countersunk d*** near smooth on skid plates, not a big concern to me. Can you link the kit?How long did it take to do the repair? I have the same kit for this situation but am curious how long it will take to make the swap.
