I recently installed a front winch and relocated the front camera and wiper and forgot to re-install the check valve and ended up draining 2 full tanks out of the car before cinching it and zip tying the line to stop the leak. Found the check valve on the part of the hose I removed, but can't figure out which end needs to point "downstream" to the camera end.
No markings on it aside from "ITW," "Sweden," and a line on the opposite side.
Any of you gurus out there have the answer?

Blow in it?

Or if you are squeamish, use an air compressor with low pressure.

Or just try it out, and if it doesn't work, flip it around. It won't break anything if you have it backwards other than a few minutes of time.

I'm betting it's not really a check valve, just a line restrictor to give the pump a bit of backpressure and keep the tank from gravity draining - it probably will work no matter which direction you install it

I tried blowing first lol. I guess my blowing skills need work!:ROFLMAO: I suspected the check valve status as when I finally pulled it off the old line a decent amount of fluid was able to dribble out.

Alright, thanks, I'll try to install it and see if it holds.
