I need 2 new blades... Both mine got nicks in the blade from something on the glass or...?
First the drivers side... Then I swapped it for the passenger. And it got nicked in the exact same spot. 🤷

I did notice when I cleaned my windshield yesterday it seemed to take a lot of crap off of it. Hoping between that and some new blades, it'll solve my issue. Fingers crossed.

Seriously, though, clay bar the glass before putting the new wiper blades on. Otherwise, any rail dust on the glass may ruin the new blades, too.

Go to the dealer and get a new set of blades under warranty.
Would they actually cover that? I always assumed that stuff wasn't covered - Even if I have only 1,200 km's on the vehicle.

Tell your dealer they're chattering all of the time and you've already tried cleaning them.
Will do! I'm going to see if they'll just give me the pair to install, so I can take them home and clay bar the windshield and then put them on. It rains here non stop it seems... And I'd hate to have them put on a new pair before I could clean the windshield again, and cleaning it before I go there likely isn't the best solution either.

We shall see - Thanks again!

No (thankfully). But it did travel across the USA and Canada to get here (West Coast), so rail dust is likely a culprit... I hope.
