I'll take a photo tomorrow. It's on the back side of the mirror (facing forward) so the Wolfbox mirrror would not cover it up.

I'm about 3/4 of the way done with the installation and I purchased the mount adapter so I could eliminate the OEM mirror altogether. They left out the damn screws. No idea what size they are either. Frustrating.
The screws should be under the rubber pads you have to tear off on the back of the mirror where the hooks attach when you’re using straps to hold the mirror to the OEM mirror.

Not those screws. We were good there. It's the four that secure the stalk to the adapter plate. Not sure what the packaging is supposed to look like but mine came in a clear plastic bag, stalk in a box, adapter plate in bubble wrap. I'm guessing it was a return and the crackpot Bezos team sent it out as new with missing parts.

That sucks. Don’t know how many times Bezos has done that to me.

Funny you mention it, I thought my screws were missing as well. Had to do a double take in the little box and sure enough, they were there.

Yep, did that four times. With a microscope. I knew there were likely small parts so I was careful opening and pulling out the two components. But no small screws to be found.

I went ahead and ordered another one as a "replacement" for the first. I let Wolfbox know and they wanted to send me four screws, likely all the way from China, and give me ten bucks back. I just wanted to know what size and thread pitch they were so I could find replacements locally or on Amazon.

I lucked out and I had two screws from a red dot optic that worked. Those'll suffice until the new screws arrive and I can at least finish the installation today and get everything lined up and functioning..

I know how annoying it is wanting to do a project and you find out you don't have all the pieces. I just hooked up the add a fuse wiring, did some other prep and took a break for another cup of coffee and now getting back in to it. Good luck.

Ah a brother in arms! Assuming it's a bit colder up there than in Texas. Hovering right around freezing here currently. Keep warm!

I've got the rear camera wiring run to the back and am still debating running the camera inside or out. About to push it through the rubber grommet. Went with the longer 33' extension cable figuring I'd have enough to go either way.

Installed the @WolfBox this morning. Took me right around 2.5 hours. Went off without a hitch. Not going to do a super involved walk through since more qualified people have already done so, thank you @RustysBronco & @TheLawnDart & @Ninjak for all of your guidance.

Went the hardwire route. Routing up to the dash and up the A-pillar went well. I ran the back camera wire along the passenger side behind the airbag paneling and through the back rollbar cover.

Originally mounted the camera up in the cranny and then dropped it down a few inches for more coverage. Didn't want it outside because of all of the weather disruption. My back up camera gets gunked up constantly so I figured why have two back there getting gunked up? Few pics below, not very good, sorry. The pics of the windshield were only to demonstrate I had no wire poke. Lighting in the garage sucked, but had to be in there because it is below freezing here in Cleveland.

Also...it appears there's a light sensor on the back of the OEM mirror. I'm hoping that is not being used by the headlights in any way, shape or form? For auto dimming mirror hopefully?

The headlights sensor is the little bubble on top of the dash, by the middle of the windshield.

Really glad the videos and posts helped with making the install a piece of cake for you! I'm looking forward to seeing the adventures you record, once you've had a chance to thaw out!

Installation finished. I opted to do the camera inside the vehicle and we'll have to see how it looks at night.

My only real quip is the Dongar power adapter is bulky and for the life of me, I could not get it behind the plastic cover. It's all sitting behind the mirror. A right angle USBA to right angle USB C will tidy things up a bit but still won't be optimal.

I'm guessing it's auto-dimming for the mirror then.

Had a chance to drive around tonight and even with the tint, the rear view with the camera inside the cabin is more than adequate. If there are no streetlights or cars behind you with lights on, you can't see anything really but it'd be the same with the regular mirror.

Still getting used to it a bit as the perspective is much wider with the rear camera vs. looking at the rear view mirror. There's just a disconnect in object size which is emphasized by the sideview mirrors. The same object is much smaller via the rear camera. It'd almost be nice if there were a zoom function to equalize the perspective somewhat. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Mine were also missing these screws. I room the mount into Lowe’s and found some screws that would fit the mount

The sensor on the mirror is just for auto dimming the mirror. I found this out when I got tinting done, they had it upside down and the mirror was always full dark. Took me a few days to figure out why.
