I, too, prefer to grip a firm, pulsing shaft with a knob on the end as I sit in traffic. As a real man should.
This is 100% sarcastic I drive and prefer manual

“Idk man, I just prefer to drive a manual”
“BUT AUTOS ARE FASTER THAN ANY HUMAN COULD EVER SHIFT AND ITS MORE EFFICIENT AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO HAVE TO WORK A CLUTCH IN TRAFFIC NOW LET ME ATTACK YOUR SEXUALITY AND MASCULINITY BECAUSE IM INSECURE WITH MY OWN”
Case in point; the clown in this very thread
Difference is in Europe, you get manual because you can't afford Autos. Why? It is decades ago that manual transmissions had any advantage over automatics. Back when automatic transmissions were sluggish and made the car less fuel efficient. Today it is the other way around.
Im from Europe and I grew up with manual transmission cars. Its nothing special at all. It does not have any advantage over an automatic other than being cheaper. Its not fun to drive a manual, its just a little annoyance that Im used to since forever. And luckily we have a better option today in Automatic transmissions that is better in every way. I see no need in Ford offering a manual in the New Bronco.
Jesus, if you thought Italy was drab, you’d hate the rest of the continent! Spent a few years living in German, and Italy was one of the highlights of the continent!Difference is in Europe, you get manual because you can't afford Autos.
In America, Manuals are rarer and a treat, so we look forward to driving them. Sadly been to Italy, don't wanna see how drab the rest of the continent is, but only good thing is every car is a fun toy to play with (We had some VW Van, which was fun solely because of the trans)
I think you mean nobody else that is american can drive Your car, as driving a manual is very basic for all us others. I think americans see it as a big accomplishment to shift manually, which is pretty damn ridiculous.like a stick shift partially because it means nobody else can drive my car lol!
20 years ago that would be true, but whats Your point?Difference is in Europe, you get manual because you can't afford Autos.
It was my dad's home town in Calabria, San Marco Argento. Basically like West Virginia meets Alabama, Italian style.Jesus, if you thought Italy was drab, you’d hate the rest of the continent! Spent a few years living in German, and Italy was one of the highlights of the continent!
Point is, you view Manuals like we view autos here, boring and not interesting at all20 years ago that would be true, but whats Your point?
